Declared a “public danger,” she was chased out of city after city, while publishing radical newspapers, participating in political activism, and even fighting on the barricades side-by-side with other young radicals who were seeking to overthrow the government. They ultimately failed in their attempt and Aston was forced into exile, but she was an in-your-face woman, just the same.
